I am jumping ahead about a month and a week to bring awareness about domestic abuse survivors.

I created this piece called, “And She Rose…” Today marks the 25th anniversary that my ex-husband told me he was going to kill me after I experienced the worst abuse ever with him and what hurt more was it was in front of my little boy (1 yr old) who is now 26 years old.

God was very much present that night in protecting my son and myself. How you ask, well, I will explain that in a letter which will be included with your purchase.

This table decor is meant to be placed (where any woman that has experienced any type of abuse and was able to get away) as a reminder that you made it - whether one day ago, 6 months or 25 years ago.

The tag on the middle bottom was created with clay and then glued to the frame. I hand wrote, “And She Rose..” and I glued to tops of brads to give it an attached-look.

The backside is painted and the stand has textured flowers on it to stand out.
